Corn Capes was born out of the frustration of a salon owner who couldn't find ecological solutions for the products used day-to-day in the hairdressers and decided to develop the idea of ​​a disposable, 100% compostable and environmentally friendly cape.

Our mission is to fight single-use plastic in hair salons.

At Corn Capes we aim to help salon owners join the fight against global warming, starting with a basic habit in their routines within the salon.

Annually, we dump more than eight million tons of plastic waste and millions of gloves and masks into the sea.

Taking into account that a hairdressing salon in Spain uses an average of 500 single-use plastic capes per month, and with 50,000 hairdressing salons in Spain, our industry discards

300 million plastic capes a year.

(a figure that is increasing due to the measures taken after covid 19).

In times where sustainability is a trend, it is important to understand that it is not a “fashion”.

Corn Capes is here to provide a solution to a problem that we are all part of.

Including the hairdressing industry.
